Please say which phone you have, which version of the app (Settings → About), and what you saw. A screenshot helps.
The model download stops or fails
- Use Wi-Fi. The larger model is 2.6 GB; on mobile data many carriers throttle or cut a download that size.
- Keep at least 4 GB free on the phone before starting. The app needs room to unpack and verify the file.
- You can leave the app and come back; the download resumes from where it stopped.
- If the app says the file failed verification, it will download it again. That is the checksum protecting you from a damaged file, not a fault.
- If it fails repeatedly, go to Settings → Model → Remove, restart the phone and start again. If it still fails, write to us with the error text.
Answers are slow or the app closes while answering
The language model uses most of the phone's memory while it writes. Close other apps, and on phones near the minimum memory prefer the small model (Settings → Model). An answer should start within a few seconds and finish within about half a minute. If the app is closed by the system repeatedly, tell us the phone model; it may be below what the larger model can run on.
An answer is wrong
Please tell us. Send the question, the answer and the source it showed. Every report is checked against the handbook and used to improve retrieval and the notes. Remember that answers are generated by an AI and marked as not expert-reviewed; read the source under each answer.
Full access does not unlock, or I changed phones
Open Settings → Full access → Restore purchases while the phone has a network and is signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account used to buy. Purchases are tied to that store account, not to the phone. Refunds are handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (order history). If the store cannot help, write to us.
Deleting my data
SeaSafe keeps your conversations only on your phone. To delete one, swipe it in the conversation list. To delete all, Settings → Clear history. To remove everything including the model, uninstall the app. There is no account to close and nothing on our side to delete; details in the privacy policy.
Languages and content
The interface and handbook are in English, German and Russian. If you found a passage that is mistranslated or out of date, send us the source shown under the answer and we will fix the note.
